According to report from Mr. Tarsam Sharma General Secretary of India Hapkido Federation3^rd India National Hapkido Championship was held at Indoor Sports Complex, M.A.M Stadium Jammu from 21^st to 23rd December 2015, Organized by Jammu & Kashmir Hapkido Association under the aegis of Hapkido Federation of India. The games were Inaugurated on 22^nd December 2015 at 11 am, by Shri Kavinder Gupta Hon’ble Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, in which 350 participants from 12 States of the Country participated .In his inaugural address Shri Kavinder Gupta dwelt upon the importance of the Martial Arts especially for self defense and development of physique, character and honesty among our youth. He praised the organizers for holding such a championship in the city of temples. He also cheered and blessed the participating Boys and Girls coming from such long distance as Assam, Telangana, Andra Pradesh, Odissa and Maharashtra. Shri Sameer Rekhi A.I.G, Vigilance Organization also spoke to the participants Earliar Prof. B.L. Kaul President HFI welcomed the Chief Guest, the Guest of Honour participants, Coaches and others. Shri Tarsem Sharma Secretary General / Founder Hapkido Federation of India moved a Vote of thanks.

The games went off well and prize distribution ceremony was attended by Shri  Jawaid Ahmed Shah Secretary and Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council was Guest of Honour , Shri Vinod Sharma District President PDP, Shri Shuja Zaffar , Rajiv Batra, Dr. Navneet Gupta,Subhash Sharma and other Sports  personalities and sports enthusiasts.    

Shri. Imran Raza Ansari Hon’ble Minister of Youth Services & Sports, J&K Government had sent a message of good wishes for successful competition of the championship.
